Value for money, going good 6 months review So, it's been almost 6 months since I bought this mouse.. i thought why not give a review here.As a software engineer and part-time content creator, I spend a lot of time on the desk, as a result discomfort pain in the wrist and also mildly impacting shoulder mobility.I came across this weird looking mouse, never seen this kind before, having tried the Logitech MX Master 2S. It was a down-shift change in terms of brand, cost and popularity.Initially, it felt a bit odd for couple of days and then things started to change as I got used to it.I use it with my Mac and Windows laptop without any hassle/glitch. I haven't faced the issue of misplaced clicks and cursor ghosting yet. Most importantly, the change and comfort that you would get when you start using this mouse is incomparable. I mean you would never switch back the regular mouse.Good few reasons to buy : Dirt Cheap, Good Design, Ergo factors, what else you need.

Works Pretty Awesome !!! Very good product from Portronics !!! Works Pretty Awesome !!! Very good product from Portronics !!!I have the habit of using vertical mouse from quite a long perid (couple of years) and I am habituated to use this kind of mouse.Unfortunately my existing mouse stopped functioning and I noticed that the price was increased more than 5 - 6 times than the one that I bought. After doing lot of research, I bought multiple mice but most of them failed (they weren't comfortable at my wrist and the mouse clicks were very hard, despite of the fact that this is supposed to reduce the pain, they increased my wrist pain)Fortunately I found this one and it's been a year I am using this mouse and it works very well. There are no cons observed as of now.As always, I bought a second peice as a backup.I would recommend this to everyone as it's a very good deal for the price it is coming for.I bought two of them and planning to buy a third one.HAPPY BUYING !!!

Ergonomic But with a Major Flaw (Updated) The mouse seems like a replica of the Logitech MX Vertical mouse (that is at least 10x as expensive). Which means ergonomics is great. It's comfortable to hold and the keys and buttons are well-placed.The keys are audibly clicky. Not too loud but not as silent and soft as are in Logitech Lift. The scroll wheel makes a little bit of noise that is not expected from even an affordable mouse but it works fine. It runs on two AAA batteries which are not included. A 2.4ghz dongle is housed inside the mouse, so travelling with this shouldn't be an issue. The mouse also goes into stand-by automatically after several minutes of non-usage to save battery. There is however one major flaw: the mouse cursor skips (jumps) when using. This gets annoying quite soon since the mouse cursor is often not where you expect it to be. On one occasion I ended up accidentally closing a window when trying to click on something else because the mouse had jumped (skipped) to a corner on its own. I have owned a Logitech G402 and Logitech Lift mouse and never faced this issue on the same mousepad (a gaming mat), so it's clearly an issue with the mouse's sensor.I've asked for a replacement (since no refunds are offered), so will update this review after I receive the new mouse. Till then it's a 1-star from me since it gets the ergonomics right but messes up the primary thing that it's supposed to do: move the cursor accurately.(PS: It also does not allow you to customise the extra buttons since Portronics does not offer a software like Logitech. The two side buttons are mapped to forward and backward which in this age of use-and-throw browser tabs is a pointless feature. The DPI button is also pointless since that is a feature used by gamers more than anyone (when sniping) and this is definitely not a good gaming mouse. Fortunately, I was able to re-map the side buttons using AutoHotkey but not the DPI button.)Update: I got a replacement mouse but it also skips/jumps. The replacement mouse was from the same batch (batch #0123), so if you get a mouse from a different batch your mileage may vary. For now, it seems it's an issue with the mouse's hardware so I'm returning it again. Amazon was nice enough to place a refund request (instead of a replacement) this time. Will look elsewhere for an affordable vertical mouse.

Poor man's MX Vertical Ergonomic I've been using this for a while.I bought another mouse after 1.5 years because the old mouse DIDN'T Die on me, I just mixed up the reciever for portronics keyboard. They all look the same, thankfully the second time they changed the reciever colour to white. It's very good,Good response, adjustable dpi all working well at daily use.Yeah obviously the soft touch will remain soft but reduced soft touch the shiny coat that peels off eventually which gives it a matte look than the shiny it once used to be.(I honestly prefer the matte look). All chromish looks gone. But it works like a charm.I use it for work, no gaming. It serves my purpose.I've no connectivity issues and the battery life is good I guess because I don't remeber changing the batteries anytime near even though it's the traditional visible Red Light sensor.

Good product, needs improved build quality Have been using it for some time now and i am satisfied with it. Much better ergonomics than a regular mouse, but needs better build quality. Being bulky, you will have to get used to it being in way while moving your hand or while sliding the keyboard trey (in case it doesn't have enough space for the mouse, like in my case). You will knock it over a lot initially.First time it fell from my table the mouse scroll roller broke from inside and scrolling stopped working. I used fevikwik to stick the broken part and it started working. Next day it fell again and broke again, this time no scope to use fevikwik. I had to do some diy jugaad to make it work again. It's a little hard now, but it survived a few falls after that.It works great and is a lot easy on your wrist. There is a DPI button with 3 settings, but i use it at highest setting, lower ones are not usable at all. There are 2 more buttons where your thumb sits, but i rarely use them too. There are not programmable but at this price you can't expact that.

Fr some reason both mouse buttons are transmitted when i click, for example, if i click right mous button, my computer reds it as both buttons clicking at the same time, i have never ha this issue with other mouses.
